
The diabetes educators at Euclid Hospital are committed to the concept of quality patient education. Our goal is to assist you in gaining confidence as you embark on this lifelong journey of self care.
Our comprehensive diabetes therapy program, available to inpatients, outpatients and the community, is endorsed by the Ohio Department of Health as a "model program."
Certified diabetes nurse educators are available for personal one-on-one teaching of all phases of diabetes management including insulin instruction and blood glucose monitoring, as well as personal consultation and problem solving. For more information, call 216-692-8711.
Registered dietitians, who are also certified diabetes educators are available for personal one-on-one teaching of meal planning, diet modification and weight control. Call 216-692-8614 for further information.

Diabetes Support Group
Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m.
Guest speakers discuss aspects of diabetes care and self-management.
There is no fee for this program.
Diabetes Recheck Clinic
Meetings are held in the Euclid Hospital Cafeteria on the second Wednesday of March, June, September and December at 7:00 a.m. The clinic is managed by professionally trained hospital personnel.
The fee for each session includes blood testing, breakfast, nutrition, pharmacy and blood pressure counseling and weight management.
